Aberdeen is a city on the North East coast of Scotland. It is Scotland's 3rd largest city and has the nickname 'The Granite City' after the material used in many of its buildings. The city is known for its oil industry and is at the heart of the UK's petroleum business. The many offshore rigs are serviced by a large port, and the world's second-largest heliport. Aberdeen is surrounded by some of the greatest scenery in Scotland. |
