Hampshire and the New Forest is located in the south of England, to the east of Wiltshire and the west of Sussex. It is only a few miles from the M25 before you cross the border into Hampshire, so the county has many prosperous towns. But once you turn off the busy main roads, you can quickly find yourself in narrow country lanes.
