Whitby is a harbour town on the North Yorkshire coast, full of ships and seagulls. Once home to Captain Cook, a Navy explorer who is honoured with his own museum. Cobbled streets house cafes and gift shops. Climb 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, which inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula. Don't leave town without trying the fish 'n' chips. |
